Each validation test (VAST tag, HTML5 ad, or video asset) uses credits. Credits are calculated based on the type and size of the ad being tested. Generally 1-5 credits are used per test. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
While our core tools are free, each test still uses real server resources. Requiring an account helps us keep the service sustainable, prevent abuse (like automated spam testing), and enforce fair usage limits. An account also lets us save your test history, analysis results, and settings so your work is available when you return.
